Shayna was just about the perfect Bat Mitzvah. She and her friends did nothing but smile and laugh and dance the night away. When girls are just loving every minute of their parties, it makes my job feel nothing like a job.
Many of my clients don’t like to travel too, too far from home for their shoots. Because of this, I have a treasure trove of favorite places for photoshoots. One of my tried and trues is Earl Bales Park. But the thing about photographing in the same place once, twice, or if you’re like me, no less than a dozen, is poking around these places to find different angles and different spots to make each shoot a unique experience for clients. This particular spot was so pretty, though, that I may have to repeat this one.
Photographing milestone moments for friends are — by far — the most special for me. I loved getting to be part of Jacob’s Bar Mitzvah weekend, with a family shoot in the park on Friday and a Havadallah and dance party on Saturday night. Mazel Tov Jacob!
