I’m not 100% who I chased more during this session—the son or the sun. With a toddler on the go and a day with not a cloud in the sky, we took lots of breaks and took advantage of the big trees at the park.
This shoot was such a pleasant surprise. Because little baby Eliana was only two weeks old, I was expecting to have her sound asleep through her entire shoot. Instead, she was wide awake while I wrapped her in cheesecloth and put her in hat boxes. She didn’t cry a single time! And then her adorable brothers joined in on the fun. What an awesome day.
When Adina told me that she was coming in from Atlanta to visit, the first thing I said was, “We are doing a photoshoot, right?” I wanted a chance at those adorable Moss kids—and I took it! The cool fall-like weather (read: freezing) worked in our favor, surprisingly. And the bubbles and M&Ms certainly helped too. Baby Caleb was pretty chill throughout the whole thing, and didn’t even bat a gorgeous eyelash when I stuffed him into a basket.
