FAMILY
I had so much fun during this shoot with my kiddos—who are clearly total hams for the camera. We were fighting the rain and the sun for a lot of the morning, but the covered porch we found, and some jokes about iCarly, totally saved the day.
There’s nothing I enjoy shooting more than several generations at one time—doting grandparents, proud parents, and sweet, sweet grandchildren. The Greenspoon family is big, sure, but they were up for just about anything, even a park shoot at 10am in 100-degree weather. It was such a great shoot that they even treated me to breakfast after!
When my lovely friend Heather Spohr asked if I’d be willing to bring my camera equipment with me when I flew to California for the Mom 2.0 conference in May, I didn’t hesitate for a single second. For Heather, I’d haul it much farther than California. While it was still cold and icky back in Toronto, it was all blue skies and green grass for this shoot. It was ridiculous fun to capture Heather, Mike, and Annie just before baby James was born.
